# ClassMaster

> ClassMaster is Ghana's BECE preparation platform. Students practise 30+ years of authentic BECE past questions, get a live readiness score, and follow a study plan built around their weak spots, on any phone and even offline. Aligned to the NaCCA curriculum.

ClassMaster covers the four core BECE subjects (English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Social Studies) plus electives. Its study resources are built directly from the official WAEC Chief Examiner's Reports, so guidance targets the exact areas candidates lose marks on every year. The platform is free to start; schools and districts get dashboards, automated marking, and cohort readiness tracking.

## Key facts
- BECE = Basic Education Certificate Examination, the exam Ghanaian Junior High School (JHS 3) students sit for Senior High School placement, set by WAEC.
- Core subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Social Studies. Electives include French, ICT, RME, BDT, Ghanaian Language, and Creative Arts.
- Grades run A1 (90 to 100%) to F9; the aggregate is calculated from a student's best six subjects and determines SHS placement.
- ClassMaster is free to start. ClassMaster Pro is GH₵25/month (GH₵75 for 4 months, or GH₵150/year); schools and districts get custom plans with dashboards, automated marking, and cohort analytics.
- ClassMaster uses adaptive learning ("performance intelligence"): it studies how each student learns and curates practice and guidance around it. Its Smart Practice feature lets students practise toward fixing weaknesses and reinforcing strengths, alongside real past questions. It supports the whole student "village": the student's personalised guidance, parent progress updates, and class-wide analytics for teachers.
